Plan the tankless RO installation around the sink

Compare the exact model’s certified contaminant claims, delivery specifications, and filter availability with your drinking-water needs. Tankless equipment avoids a storage tank, but still needs adequate cabinet space and connections. Supply pressure and temperature can affect delivery, so rated output alone does not predict every installation.

What this treatment does not replace

Tankless does not mean zero wastewater. RO creates a concentrate stream; compare the manufacturer’s published recovery information. A dissolved-solids reading is useful operational information but cannot establish removal of every contaminant or certify that water is safe.

Prepare for an equipment assessment

Confirm cabinet clearance, the cold-water connection, an approved drain arrangement, and any power requirement. Identify the faucet location and countertop material. If drilling is necessary, permission and a suitable installation method should be settled before work starts.
